In 2013 the Rijksmuseum reopend after a ten year renovation. In the adjecent Teekenschool (Drawing School) the museum experimented with a MediaLab.
In the lab, we encouraged visitors to create new works inspired by the museum’s world-class art collection. I conducted workshops and courses on design, mostly for individual adults and school classes.

Together with other designers the lab was also a place to experiment with 3D printers, a laser cutter and photography. I worked on various design projects, including laser-cut paper collars produced for the Rijksstudio Award launch.
